Hi, I am holding a diploma in management & accounting and currently working in the banking industry. I wish to pursue a part time Degree in Banking & Finance. Do I have to take any bridging course or qualify for any exemptions? Please advise.

Hi Darren,

Murdoch University awards advance-standings for local polytechnic graduates, and they are only required to complete 9 – 12 units (Single / Double Major) for Murdoch’s programs. Yes, there might be foundation course (i.e Principle of Accounting, Principle of Marketing, Principle of Economics, Introduction to Commercial Law, Quantitative Methods, etc) required depending on the course units covered from their previous diploma studies.

Hi Darren,

Curtin University has long standing ties with the well-respected polytechnics in Singapore. As such, Curtin recognises the quality of polytechnic students by granting students up to 12 exemptions into Curtin’s programs, depending on the course units covered from their previous diploma studies. There is no need to study bridging course to be enrolled into the bachelor program.
