Preparatory Course for GCE ‘O’ Level Examination
This preparatory course is for secondary school/high school graduates and current students who are 16 years old and above. The aim is to prepare students to sit for the annual GCE O-Level Examination held in October and November to gain entry to a Singapore Polytechnic. The subjects offered are English, Elementary Mathematics, Additional Mathematics, Principles of Accounts, Combined Sciences (Physics and Chemistry). Students from China can consider taking examination for Chinese. Results of the best 5 subjects will be computed for students to gain admission to government polytechnics.
After ‘O’ Level, many students may opt to go to Polytechnics. Polytechnics were set up with the mission to train middle-level professionals to support the technological and economic development of Singapore. Reflecting the wide range of abilities, aptitudes and interests of their students, the polytechnics seek to train students with relevant and specific skills for the workplace to give Singapore a competitive edge as we move into a knowledge-based economy. Today, polytechnic graduates are valued as practice-oriented and knowledgeable middle-level professionals, much sought after by industry.
Covers the necessary materials sufficient in preparation to sit for GCE ‘O’ Level examination. This will include the practicing of standard questions and understanding the model answers in English, Mathematics and Science.

From Monday to Friday, normal class schedule is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. However, from January to October, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. is English course. Other subject classes are from 1 p.m to 4 p.m. From 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. is teacher consultation time.
There are four Modules per year:
Module 1: November to December
Module 2: January to March
Module 3: March to June
Module 4: June to October
Students can choose to enroll in the whole course from Module 1 to Module 4. At the end of each module, students must take the module examination and the college will issue the module examination results to the students.

POINTS TO NOTE
Students will sit for our placement test before their first lesson to access their English standard, so as to assign the students to a class of a suitable course level for them to start with.
Foreign students who will be studying for a period of more than 3 months will need to apply for STUDENT PASS.

Graduation and Degree
- Singapore-Cambridge GCE ‘O’ Level Certificate after successful completion of GCE ‘O’ Level Examinations.
Length of course
