Description

This is a Bachelor conversion programme which allows polytechnic graduates with relevant industrial experience to upgrade their qualifications to the professional level of Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical).

*Students with a recognised diploma plus relevant industrial experience of at least 1 year will normally be granted credit for the first 2 years of the programme and the 0-unit programme MENG 3007 Industrial Experience.

**Candidates with relevant work experience may apply for additional credit up to a maximum of 18 units for the four elective programmes in the final year. This will be determined on a case-by-case basis. To determine the amount of additional credit, students are to address the learning outcomes for 4 elective programmes by submitting a detailed Application for Additional Credit Report to the university. Those students who are granted less than the maximum number of specified credit (18 units) will be required to undertake additional units of study in order to complete programme requirements.
