Business corporations and organisations constantly seek out individuals with a range of management skills and domain knowledge to fill various positions such as Human Resource, Business Development, Finance, Investment, Marketing, Strategy and Planning. A Bachelor of Business in Management degree would arm you with the requisite skill set to fill any of these executives’ positions.
In the programme, you learn and appreciate both theory and practice in core management and business subjects. Taught by both university faculty and local lecturers, the degree is identical to that awarded to on-campus students in Melbourne.
Graduates may be employed in a range of professional, commercial, industrial and not-for-profit organisations. With appropriate experience, they can expect to advance to management positions.
Lectures and Location
Lectures are normally conducted by both the University faculty and local lectures. Lectures are typically of three hours duration. A break of between 10 to 15 minutes is usually provided. To be awarded the Bachelor of Business (Management) degree, student must complete, or exempted from completing (depending on their advanced standing status), a total of 24 modules comprising:
1. 8 Common Core Modules
2. 8 Major
3. 8 Electives, which may be made up of :
a. A Second Business Major OR
b. A Business Minor and a Second Minor; OR
c. A Business Minor and 4 Elective

Full Programme – 24 Modules
2 GCE ‘A’ Level passes plus a pass in an ‘AO’ level subject, or
2 H2 level passes plus a pass in a H1 level subject
Advanced 1 – 16 Modules
An RMIT approved non-business diploma from any of the local polytechnics
Advanced 2 – 12 Modules
An RMIT approved relevant business diploma from SIM or any of the local polytechnics
Other qualifications will be considered on a case-by-case basis by the university.
If an applicant does not satisfy the university minimum academic entry requirement, the applicant may be able to satisfy the requirement if they can produce evidence of other equivalent qualifications or combination of qualifications and experience as assessed by RMIT University on a case-by-case basis.
Full Programme (3 years): S$40,446.00 for 24 modules, payable over six semesters
Advanced 1 (2 years) : S$26,964.00 for 16 modules, payable over four semesters
Advanced 2 (1.5 years) : S$20,223.00 for 12 modules, payable over three semesters
The fee per module is S$1,685.25.00.
The above fees exclude textbooks.
